€1 Million Funding Secured to Accelerate Direct Air Capture Technology

Soletair Power has secured another €1 million in private equity funding from Halton Group (Halton Ventures Oy), Helkama Kiinteistöt Oy, Kari Kolu Holding Oy, Suffice International Limited, and Søren Jensen RaceToZero Invest ApS.

This timely investment coincides with an increased interest in carbon removal solutions. The funding will significantly contribute to advancing the company’s efforts to scale its direct air capture (DAC) technology. This technology holds the potential to unlock gigatonne-scale carbon removal capacity for cities worldwide, directly addressing the critical need to mitigate climate change.

Since our inception, we have focused on developing a cost-effective Building Integrated Carbon Capture (BICC) technology. Our system leverages existing building infrastructure (HVAC systems) and utilizes a modular design for rapid global deployment. This approach offers a promising pathway to achieve large-scale carbon removal.

We have fostered a collaborative environment with talented innovators and problem-solvers. We’ve already made significant progress, delivered six DAC plants, and got bigger plans underway. With ambitious plans for the future, the company is well-positioned to make a substantial impact on global decarbonization efforts.

The future’s looking bright (and carbon-free!), and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
