Soletair Power has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Alcarbo Technologies Limited from Hong Kong.
The agreement aims to address climate challenges and support Hong Kong’s low-carbon transition.
Soletair Power provides modular CO2 capture solutions that can be retrofitted with building ventilation systems. Integration of this technology can reduce HVAC energy consumption and lower carbon footprints from commercial buildings. Alcarbo Technologies Limited plans to repurpose the captured CO2 into valuable products.
Alcarbo Technologies Limited has developed an innovative solution in the form of an advanced algae photobioreactor system (PBRs). Utilizing the incredible carbon-fixing abilities of microalgae, their PBRs enable rapid and efficient carbon sequestration. These microorganisms efficiently convert carbon dioxide into saccharides through the process of photosynthesis, effectively offsetting carbon emissions on a large scale.
